 Naturopathic
Doctors are trained as specialists in natural medicine. They emphasize
prevention of
disease, maintenance of optimal health, and promotion of the
individual’s inherent self-healing process. Naturopathic
medicine accomplishes health care using: clinical nutrition,
botanical medicine, homeopathic medicine, physical medicine including

| Farhang
R. Khosh, N.D., received his Doctorate of Naturopathic
Medicine from Bastyr University, a nationally accredited naturopathic
medical school in Seattle, Washington. He graduated from The
University of Kansas where he earned his bachelor’s degree
in Biochemistry and did advanced work in Molecular Biology. |

| Mehdi
L. Khosh, N.D., also received his Doctorate of Naturopathic
Medicine form Bastyr University and his bachelor’s degree
in Biochemistry from The University of Kansas. Dr. Mehdi Khosh
has performed a great deal of research in genetics at The University
of Kansas and the VA Medical Center in Kansas City. |

They
have developed several herbal and nutritional products. These
products are now available nationally. In 2002 both doctors
were nominated for the Naturopathic Physician of the year
at AANP annual convention.

doctors are dedicated to truly holistic medicine, which shows
in their gentle manner, perceptiveness and attention to the details
of each patient’s individual needs. Their articles have
been published in several health-related magazines and in alternative
medical journals. They are very active in the academics of medicine
by teaching and lecturing on alternative medicine at KU, UMKC,
KU Medical Center, and so on. |

Irene Bockelman, LSCSW, APP, Irene has been working in the mental health field for over twenty years and has been in private practice since 1991 offering psychotherapeutic services. Her integration of these trainings allows her to offer a continuum of services with a holistic understanding of the body-mind-spirit interaction. |
